So this is what the redo wound up doing. Looks great in the large format print, which of course I can't, like, prove because I don't have a picture. But unsubstantiated internet information is among the most reliable around.

A 17 year old said that to me on MySpace once. Like 2 years ago. I'm almost 30. In related news, I still don't quite have show flyer aesthetic nailed, but this was kind of a quickie job. Looking forward to doing more - I think the next few should be pretty solid. This one at least is pretty inline with my obsession with vintage robots. (Didn't do the illustration though, before that's like the first thing you compliment. But my mad art-directing skillz selected it.)

Is there a such thing as a shotgun wedding illustration?
